Athlete of the Week Jan 11 – Jan 17 – MAX REED (SO) – Swimming

                                        “Max finished first in both the 200 free and 100 breaststroke this past weekend in a close fought dual with Mason.  He also helped the 200 medley and 200 free relays to a first place finish.”

 Athlete of the Week Jan 25 – Jan 31 – KASEY EDWARDS (SO) – Diving

  “Despite a crazy season, no pool to practice in until mid-December, and having to practice from 9-10 PM in Mason, Kasey has worked really hard all season. Her work paid off at the GMC diving championship meet. Kasey had a great meet and finished in 5th place for the GMC conference.” Coach Cathy Ogilvie  

Athlete of the Week Jan 18 – Jan 24 – KYLE FUNK (SR) – Swimming

“Kyle finished 1st in all four of his individual events this past Saturday.  In our first meet on Saturday, Kyle finished 1st in the 50 free and the 100 back to help lead the boys team to a win over Harrison.  He was also on the 1st place 200 free relay.  In our evening meet, Kyle

Athlete of the Week Feb 3 – Feb 9 – OWEN HOOPER (JR) – Swimming

    “Owen qualified for Districts in both the 50 free and 100 freestyles, swimming personal best times.  He also was a part of both the 200 medley and 200 free relays that qualified as well.  Owen has continued to improve drastically over the last couple of years, and now his times in his events are really starting to show.”  Coach Craig Reed

Athlete of the Week Jan 27 – Feb 2 – KELLIE KNOTTS (SR) – Swimming

     “Kellie finished in 5th place in the 200IM and 6th place in the 100 breast this past weekend at GMC’s. Kellie has been one of the most consistent pieces of our swim team the last four years and she continues to swim well this season and perform at a high level.” Coach Craig Reed    

Athlete of the Week Nov 25 – Dec 1 – MAX REED (FR) – Swimming 

           “In last week’s dual with Badin, Max finished 1st in the 200IM and 100 fly events and was also a member of both the 200 medley and 400 free relays that finished first.  Max’s performance helped the boys to their first dual meet victory of the season and first against Badin in several years.  Max swims competitively year round for the Cincinnati Marlins.”  Coach Craig Reed
