We dubbed our 2020 season the SEASON OF QUARENTINE. Although we had to say goodbye to our seniors Maiah Hodge and Lauren Lackey, we look forward to 2021 with anticipation to get back on our field on Nilles Rd.

The varsity softball team advanced to the District Championship defeating West Clermont 8-5 off of Senior Jordan Shotwell’s walk off 3 run homer. The team started out with 4 consecutive doubles and a 3 run lead. Finding themselves down 5-3 in the 5th inning the team rallied in the 6th inning to tie it off
HANNAH MILLER – Softball “The senior threw a five-inning perfect game against Princeton April 8 at Fairfield and followed it up April 30 with a 4 2/3 perfect inning effort before hitting a batter. She then got the next girl to ground out to complete a no-hitter. She retired 29 straight Vikings before the HBP.” Voting
On Senior Day the varsity softball team defeated Lakota West 10-9 with a walk-off double by senior Jordan Shotwell scoring Maiah Hodge after her lead of single in the bottom of the seventh. Shotwell had 2 hits and Maiah Hodge was 3 for 4. Lindsey Mitchell, Natalie Elliott and Hannah Miller each had 2 hits.

The varsity softball team defeated Oak Hills yesterday 6-0. Leading hitters were Seniors Lindsey Mitchell 2 for 4 with a triple, Jordan Shotwell 3 for 4 with a triple, Kayla Wooton 2 for 3 with a double . Freshman Breiley Proffitt was 2 for 3. Mitchell got the win in the circle striking out 6
“Hannah achieved what only 2 other pitchers in our program history have achieved by pitching a Perfect Game on April 8, 2019 versus Princeton. A perfect game is defined as where no player reached base the entire game. Hannah also pitched in our win against Mason. She has a .444 batting average, has 16 hits
The varsity softball team racked up their 11th win defeating Sycamore 13-0 in 5 innings. Hannah Miller took the win on the mound striking out 5. Junior Maiah Hodge led the offense going 2 for 2 with a double and 4 RBi’s. Senior Maddie Schaeffer doubled and Senior Lindsey Mitchell went 2 for 2. Freshman
