Freshman Boys Basketball win Freshman Tournament Title

The Freshman Boys Basketball team defeated Princeton 42-39 to win the Fairfield Freshman Tournament. Kesean Gamble led the scoring with 16 points.  The Freshman Boys end their season 18-1 and GMC Champs.

The FHS Varsity Girls bowling Team finished tied for third at The OHSAA Sectional Bowling Tournament today at Colerain Bowl. Varsity Girls Basketball falls to McAuley 58-61

Sport Basketball Varsity Girls Home Score 61 Away Score 58 Game Recap Fairfield Lady Indians fought hard but fell short to McAuley. Cydney Franklin led all scorers with 26 points. Athlete of the Week Feb 10 – Feb 16 – HERMAN BRUNIS (SR) – Basketball

“Herman helped lead the Indians to back to back GMC championships this past week. In two wins over Mason and Hamilton, Herman totaled 31 points, 10 assists, and 14 rebounds. His leadership helped the Indians finish off the season on an 8 game winning streak heading into the post season.” Coach Tim Austing

Athlete of the Week Feb 3 – Feb 9 – MITCHELL ELLIS (JR) – Swimming

“Mitchell placed second in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:02.91 at the GMC Championship Meet. He also placed 3rd in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:03.88. Mitchell has consistently out-performed his competition this season, losing only one race in dual meets this year. He looks forward to competing at Sectionals
