Softball takes 2 wins in doubleheader over the weekend…

On Friday, the varsity softball team came back from a 4-0 deficit in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game, but ended up falling short of the win to Lakota East 6 to 4. Saturday the team traveled to Wilmington and played a doubleheader.  In the first game the team defeated Mount Notre

Softball sweeps Sycamore in final series of GMC play

Senior Rhi Hubbard had 5 RBI’s and went 3 for 3 just short of hitting for the cycle in the Varsity softball teams 9th win of the season defeating Sycamore 14-1 in 5 innings.  Senior Taylor Delk also went 3 for 3 scoring 3 runs.  Along with Hubbard, Juniors Lindsey Mitchell, Natalie Elliott and Hannah Miller

Varsity Softball continues to roll with win over Franklin – Barrett’s walk off ends the game in 6 innings…

Varsity softball Senior Natalie Barrett’s walk off hit scored Junior Jordan Shotwell to end the game with Franklin in 6 innings 12-2.  Junior Lindsey Mitchell gave up only 2 hits and notched her 3rd win of the season.  Senior Rhi Hubbard went 1 for 2 scoring 3 runs.  Junior’s Kayla Wooton, Hannah Miller,  Shotwell  and Sophomore Karlee Mills each had

Hubbard’s homer lifts softball, but team falls just short of a win over Mason

All 3 Seniors had 2 hits, but the team falls just short against Mason 3-2.   Seniors Natalie Barrett, Taylor Delk and Rhi Hubbard led the offense with 6 of the games 8 hit effort.  Hubbard’s solo home run in the 3rd inning put the Indians on the board.  Junior Natalie Elliott had an RBI knocking Junior
